I have always been fascinated by street photography. The candid moments, the stories told in a single frame, the way a mundane scene can be transformed into something beautiful – I find it captivating. Although photography has long been a passion of mine, it wasn’t until recently that I really took my first steps into the world of street photography.
It’s been a steep learning curve. Figuring out compositions, anticipating moments, and overcoming the initial shyness of photographing strangers. But the rewards have been immense. There is something incredibly satisfying about capturing a fleeting expression, a unique interaction, or a slice of everyday life that might otherwise go unnoticed.
This post marks the beginning of what I intend to be a series documenting my street photography journey, where I will be sharing some of my favourite images I have taken and reflecting on my experiences as I explore this fascinating subject.
